i want to run v7 on my stock car. there hasnt been any tuning done and i have no experience with it. i just want to know, when using the big map translator should my big map have the same scale as my original one(500-7500, 10-260) or what is on there currently(500-11000, 10-350)?

I also wanted to point out that we won't add UNDEFINED/UNKNOWN files tot he XML until they ARE defined/known. We should start a thread for those maps/tables though. If we all are on the same page, it will be easy to keep it tidy.

Phenem, when adding tables to the XML, keep them together for each section, don't just add them to the bottom. This will create chaos in no time. If people want to do that with their personal XML file, that's totally fine...and their choice, but for the MAIN XML file we should keep it EXTREMELY organized. If you want, whenever you have need tables to add, you can email them to me and I can put them in the appropriate categories and place them in the appropriate location within the XML too. Now that we got the bulk of the coding organized, adding tables is pretty darn easy for me.

Thumbs up to everyone contributing the missing tables!!!! I can't wait to see how well defined we are going to get these ROM's

Just successfully converted from a V5.1 version of 94170015 w/ SD to this new ROM and so far so good. The car started right up and the only change I made to the XML was the scaling for the Omni 4-bar. Liking the way how everything is laid out. Great work gents

Question:
Can someone point me to the correct addresses for the MUT table to log 2-byte Load/RPM/Airflow?

Edit: Are these the correct addresses to use? I'm new to this ROM
96530006
2byte load
MUT 00 = 898A
MUT 01 = 898B

2byte RPM
MUT 02 = 8962
MUT 03 = 8963

2byte AirFlow
MUT 04 = 89E2
MUT 05 = 89E3

MUT 3D TABLE ADDRESS = 36200

PreSetup MUT's:

1byte load should be setup as MUT41
2byte airflow (ie MrFreds mod in g/s or lb/min) should be MUT00 and MUT01
2byte airflow (ie MAFHz) should be MUT02 and MUT03
1byte gear should be MUT40
2byte SPEED/RPM ratio (to get your gear ratios correct - if you need to) = MUT42 and MUT43

2byte load AND 2byte RPM are no longer included and IMHO not needed!

Yeah that all looks correct for 2byte stuff.

JoT, love your .xml. So clean, so organized. Just have one lil suggestion...

IMO, the scaling for AFR need to have its "display min" and "display max" at 8 and 20, instead on 5 and 30.

This makes it so this

Turns into this

Are the correct values for logging this pre-populated in the MUT table and nothing needs to be done on my end besides updating EvoScan XML?

yeah they are already setup in my original distributed zip file.

just double check the evoscan xml to ensure the MUT's are correct.

obviously you need to match the loadfactor in ecuflash to evoscan!

What part of the XML needs to be updated in Evoscan?

*Edit*
I understand that they need to match - I just don't understand which part in Evoscan it is...

In Evoscan, there is a entry called "RequestID" that is the 'MUT RequestID', so just make sure that matches!

I DO run the SD patch so it WAS relevant to my post I figured the person reading the thread would have had the foresight to patch their xml's accordingly.
