Yes, the clutch must be in....to the floor. Maybe you need to adjust the clutch switches. They are just plastic and can get moved pretty easily. Test them with a mutimeter to ensure they are correctly set.

^^^BINGO eclipses dont have clutch switches. So now how do i go about this install the two evo clutch switches? thats weird that on the 0008 rom it worked must not need to push in the clutch for the stationary revlimiter to work on that rom. Is there a patch i could do to eliminate the need for the clutch switches?

Find a way to supply 12V to pin 43 on an VIII ECU, or pin 88 on an IX ECU.
See this thread: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ec...ething-me.html.

its just a stationary rev limiter which is active when the car is stopped has nothing to do with the clutch in the 0008 an 0015 roms from what i can tell as they both work on 3g eclise which dont have the clutch switches.
There has to be a patch, im praying right now. Its on my christmas list too.

For the eclipse guys with the stationary rev limiter problem.... make sure you are waiting long enough to check operation. You have to be going slower than a certain speed for a certain period of time for it to kick in. Check speed sensor operation also. It couldn't hurt to set the limiter lower to something like 3k RPM to test.

been having problem to get the idle to run right. I've been testing 96530706 for a awhile now and have tried to look at it again today. I'm having a bit of issue with idle on an evo 8. Idle by itself is fine but when I drive and come to a stop, it dips all the way down to the point where its gonna die then comes back up. Its weird. I flashed the v5.10 (96420011) map and its fine again.
Phenem - have you encountered this. Am I over looking something. I've checked the idle tables and transferred the map from v5.10 over to .7
Logic, Tephra, JO, fostyTou - any idea whats going one here?
