Two versions of ECUFlash on the same PC?

Can I have two versions of ECUFlash on the same PC? An older and of the new versions. Will there be any mixup of definitions or xlm files? My current ECUFlash version is old and does not support Tephra V7 but my old ecuflash have all the definitions I update for my ROM.

Just backup your definition files and add any modifications to the new definitions. it is safe to upgrade at this point.

Yes, this is how I used to do versioning and copy tables between roms before V7 came out with the ROMID changed.

Just rename your current install to something meaningful:

C:\Program Files\OpenECU\EcuFlash -> C:\Program Files\OpenECU\EcuFlashv1.32

Then when you do a new install it will install to the default C:\Program Files\OpenECU\EcuFlash

You can run an instance of each without issue.

What frosty said; I probably have seven or eight different copies of EcuFlash on my hard drive that cover different incompatible sets of mods that I didn't want to futz up the "main" install for.

more recently i have used ecuflsh 1.41 and 1.42 and the files work between each version (as long as you don't mod anything).
