I'm sure if you explain to your tuner exactly what you are aiming for, he could explain the best course of action.
I completely agree. Running the stock tune will most likely give you worse gas millage assuming the custom tune you get is proper.

The best device for keeping the boost down is your right leg

ya ive heard about the car runing ritch stock but ile have intake and exh witch will help right? or will that make it go the other way? anyway i dought the tune will have better gas im having it at max "safe" high performance since ile use it rarely because of the switch. the dubble tune will cost $450 im gonna hold off on that for a while, im still recouping from my wheels and coilovers, and i guess at that price i would rather just learn to tune myself, witch i might just do

What mods have you done, ONLY an intake and exhaust? even just adjusting the tune to work best for those takes time. and If you have anything else done, well, there you go.

yes, the only hp adding mods i have are intake and full exhaust (witch arnt even on the car yet) like i said the car is a DD so i never wanted anything to big like camshafts or turbo upgrade. so thats why to $450 for a tune sounds like a bit much for me and i would rather just learn to tune myself now that i think about it. so would the int and exh help to make the car run a bit leaner? seems like it would because of the extra airflow.
