Quote: I would personally ditch that kpa load table start one to one. That has load below kpa until a couple psi then favors a lot of load. Even with one to one you will see load higher than your kpa. It's very deceiving and I went 3dsd so I did t have to fudge my fuel map. Dropping back to 1:1 kpa load was the best thing ever I did.

What's your map kpa table?

Are you tuning from scratch or do you have a maf tune you're trying ? Pm me alllll of your set up I'll see if I can help kick start ya

Are you opposed to 3dsd?

Little bit more time consuming but it is 10x more intuitive IMHO

Has anyone had any issues with throttle delay when tapping throttle from idle? Where you have to tap the gas a few times lightly to get the RPM to rise without stalling. Currently using 94171715.

Like, when you start to press the accel does the car stumble and then catch up after a couple seconds or if you switch gears does it feel like it takes it a moment for the car to register that you want to accelerate in the next gear? Is it only when cold (the engine, not outside temp)?

Just thought to throw this our there...

I am switching to SD as we speak, and something had been throwing me off. This may be common knowledge to most but for reason I was having trouble. I am using ROM 94171715 v7 and could not find the XML for changing the MAP scalings for my OMNI 4-bar. It is not in the ****1715 but found in the ****0715 file. I read through this entire thread and dont remember reading anything pertaining to this issue, so if I looked, somebody else probably is too. Hope this helps!!

I am/will be using this ROM as well... Drove the car around earlier today on SD with the wrong MAP scalings and it drove ok. I did notice this issue but it seemed to get better with some MAP VE tuning...... however, like I stated I was using the wrong settings but as I get this set up ill let ya know what happens man.

I currently made the switch to SD, but have a high idle, usually 1500RPM with A/C on or off. I will explain much more in detail tomorrow and give my specs, I need to get some shuteye for work but if someone has a clue as to whats going on, it would be much appreciated. Car runs good other than that though.

I really am having a hard time to get my injector scaling correct. I am on 3d ve mapping but I think it's the same concept. I don't understand the processes for adjusting my fuel trims.. My car idles at 16.5-17afr no matter what stft ltft low read.

Yea, does your ve table actually play a role in closed loop?

Has anyone had the issue with 9417 SD where on a cold start, it'll fire right up and idle perfect, then shut off 15-20 seconds later? Once you start it after dying, it will not idle on its own for 2 minutes or so once semi warm. Also die right away from free rev.

I played with the Post Primer Enrich Decay in the problem area's where its cold but really didn't do anything.

I'm trying to see if I can fix this on my own before Tom has some time and fixes it with his eyes closed once we actually tune my car...

Its not a fix to the 9417 rom but I have always had better luck with the 9653 on s.d. It seems to run more crisp and reacts to changes better. Try porting your settings over and see if the issue goes away.
