What do you have your SD patch set to for IAT sensor input? Is it set to 0x0E or 0x03?

I think first of all, you have to set your injectors scaling and latency with maf perfectly before start map tune.

Not?
I believe this is the best way to speed up the process. Incorrect injector scaling and latency (mostly latency) can cause all sorts of issues at idle, startup and fuel compensation tables if you are trying to figure it out on SD.

I am converting to sd soon and i have read this whole forum and every post and still not getting it 100%. Right now my fuel trims are +2/-2 and has been for about 3 weeks and about 2k miles. I will be doing the double pumper and fic 2150cc injectors soon as well. I need more simple details as to tuning the ve and rpm maps. Thanks in advanced.

Jamie is a great ressource about this.(and more)

I will make myself more clear in a few days. I will post more basics about SD. I haven't a big experience with it, but I think I can gather information and popularise it a little bit more. After countless reading on it, I can tell you it's simplier than it looks.
I don't understand some things regarding this method,

1- I have a kavlico 3.5 bar sensor from my zeitronix and i also hooked up it on map pin in the ecu. So i use it for both, zeitronix and SD.
I think is not a problem. not?

I set SD RPM VE with PSIa16 Kavlico3.5barMAP scaling.

and it is like this at the first appear:
-3.0 / 8.5
0.1 / 16.5
3.4 / 26
6.1 /34
11.6 /50
24.0 / 90
29.7 /120
95.6 / 340

My startup RPM VE Table is like this:
70
72
77
85
85
85
92
96
100
100
100
100
100
97
92
89
86

Well i start the car and closed loop try to keep 14.7 afr..
I keep looking o2 feedback trims and afr.. To get them 0.

I know that lowering RPM VE TAble it will go leaner.. and increasing RPM VE TAble it will go richer.

What i don't understand is that :

You say that VE efficiency is LOAD/KPA*100=VE
and it is the start to go right on speed density , and for me it's ok.

But how can i use this formula if load is a SD RPM VE variable?
If i change SD RPM VE table i will change load every time and changing load also ve is changed cause ve= LOAD/KPA*100.

Have i to calc ve= LOAD/KPA*100 using a stock MAF rom and then after calculating the avarage VE reporting it in the RPM VE TAble?

Then after read the average VE i have to play only with SD RPM VE not?
Cause VE are calculate previusly with maf and they are 100 right , or they need some adjustment thought?

thanks

Yes that formula is for when you're on maf .

Particularly useful in 3d . I don't think it works quite the same in 2d. In 3d you leave kpa load 1:1

And I would add: play with it, you'll understand it more and more. You will find the best way for you to tune it.
Having VE from MAF tune give a good starting point but you always end up tweaking it manually. The MAF VE trick is more for 3D than 2D, but still usable with 2D ROM and my 3D to 2D excel file.

For sure I was on that side of the wall once. I tuned it my way. Now that I've done that I'm using the dtt method to go back to maf. I just can't get it to log in evoscan. Lol issues.

9417 has some issues for me (especially non tunable cold start table) but there is people that use it out there.
