Uninstalling and re-installing EcuFlash will not solve your problem. You need the ROM to be fresh. The evo wiki should help you out.

I I believe your periphery bits are the problem. Looking at F9A I see that you have 2 bits enabled. Every car I have seen only has one and it is usually bit 2.....but then again I have only tuned 8s so the 9 could be different.

Can anyone with a 9 confirm this is an anomaly or just the way those bits are?

It's an anomaly. I only have bit 1 (the 2nd from the bottom) enabled in F9A.

As I thought. That bit may be causing the issue.

Do you still have your egr equipment installed? If so in periphery bits FAA enable bit 11 (change to 0). That will help some of the driveability and AFR swings while cold. Bigger cams will draw less vacuum at idle.

Your high oct egr enabled advance is different than mine also. You have a few values that are higher.

Nope, still having the problem. I re-enabled the EGR and Cold Start Maps and returned them to the stock settings except I removed the High Oct EGR advance in the 1500 rpm row. Still not getting the correct timing values or AFRs

Jordan, I asked mrfred about that second table, he says its not in 88590015.
It is in 88580013/14 though.
