Go into the evoscan folder - then click the data folder - the right click the data xml.

Copy it into evoscan after the "mode2" its after the DTC code stuff from the top - not real far down, just paste it with the other data items.

save the xml and re-open evoscan - should be somewhere at the top of the data list.

I've already done that. I've made the changes on a backup file, copy and pasted it to the evoscan destination folder, it asks if i want to replace the file, I do.

BUT when I open the data.xml from the evoscan folder in xml editor, the code only shows up in the source, not in the tree.

When I open the backup file, I can see the code in BOTH the source AND the tree. I have it pasted right under external WB.

I've tried deleting the data.xml and they copying over my backup xml and that won't work either.

I've tried pasting the code directly into the data.xml in the evoscan folder. Same thing. I can't see the code in the tree, only when I select view source I can see the code in notepad.

So every time I update the xml in evoscan, it for some reason won't show. Won't display when I open up evoscan either.

hmm dunno man, that is strange - i always copy the code into my actual data.xml in the folder by right clicking / edit, copy it in, then close it which prompts me to save and i click yes then shut down evoscan (if open) and re-open it and its always there.

Well, I solved my problem with the post above.

I ended up uninstalling v2.5 with revo uninstaller. Reinstalled. Now the xml accepts my changes and the wideband function shows up on Evoscan.

Strange how these things work.

Well I guess I'm all set to go as long as my formula is correct. We will just wait and see I suppose. My ECU pins should be here in a few days.

well everything is working now.

BUT it seems like it's gathering information too slow. is there any way to fix this?

How did you come up with your formula in the first post?

I'm playing around with my AEM and when I used the pic you posted above (the AEM documentation) the formula derived is Y = 2X + 10

or AFR = 2 (voltage) + 10

When I log this, it does not appear to match the gauge all too well but that's what the AEM provided documentation gives you for a formula.
