if you guys dont mind posting it im just curious as to what most of you are running at the tracks /road racing ( ). because im assuming it would be safe/real to lets say shyft at 8.5k and have it drop by about .5k.

I use 2000 RPM just in case I have a slow shift or miss. Its still way less than the amount of drop you will actually have.
85% throttle, prevents TPS issue/driver error
25 km/h (right above my stat rev limiter)
~110% load (hard to fall under the load limit while RPM is dropping, plenty high enough to free rev when I need to)

There are quite a few posts about this, and I think a whole thread dedicated to it.

I use 2000RPM, 98% TPS (because I only want it for 4th-5th shifts), and 120% load.

I keep the load and TPS relatively high because I've had it kick in when I didn't want it to and it is VERY disturbing if it happens on exit of a corner b/c it totally throws me off and kills my accel. My 5th gear has seen better days so it's nice to carry a little boost into 5th once I finally get it in there. My shift into 5th is pretty slow.

Yeah, there is definitely an argument toward setting it higher if you are not just going in a straight line. How do you trip it in the turn though? ...are you resting a foot near the clutch?

Back in the DSMLink days some guys were crazy enough to use it mid turn while auto-x ing because they car's balance wouldn't be terribly upset for them. I would probably never do that though.

@fostytou . why a 2 grand drop? ( *vin deisil voice* "granny shifting not double clutching like u should?!" lmao ) i loose about 2grand wen i bang gears like my life depends on it. i have friends that can catch it at a 1.5k drop. but does it still rip going into 2nd and 3rd with that much drop?

Couldn't get my questions answered in the V7 help thread, maybe one of you guys can help me.

First, not NLTS related but my stationary rev limiter doesn't work.

Second, I don't have a value for NLTS RPM drop (just displays a small gray box) and can not change it.

Okay. So I went to edit map definition and made the user level 'developer' (there was previously nothing there) and set the scaling to uint16 (also previously nothing there). I still can't view a number, but at least when I hit "=" now it brings up the window to enter a value. I probably won't be able to see if it works tonight though.

I shouldn't have to change clutch switches or anything. My stationary limiter worked fine before I switched to Tephra V7. I can switch back to an old map without V7 to make sure it works if necessary.

So I finaly got my stutter box wired up and it works. So I'm assuming my nlts will work as well will test out tomorow because I'm going to need it this week end haha. I'm thinking of going with
90%tps
150load
1200rpm drop
And and aboutabout 5mph less than my 1st gear redlin limit.
I'm just realy scared ill break my t-case goin from 1st to 2nd... can I?

If you're scared of brakeing stuff, you shouldn't be no lift shifting at all. It's made to drive the car harder, with less stress on the drivetrain but it's still a substantial amount more than just lifting and shifting.
