As for the gear based boost control, you need to make sure to set up the "RPM Speed to Gear" table properly.

00.0000 6
43.3186 5
61.9912 4
84.6903 3
117.301 2
176.195 1
2899.78 0

"Main Map Wastegate Duty" for the 0 and the 6 gear columns should be all 0

Lastly, your MAP sensor must be set up correctly as well.

Quick question on the RPM Speed to Gear table.
In the 0 gear column, Appauldd has put 2899.78. My table will not allow me to utilize any decimal points. Should we be utilizing the old 2900 in the 0 gear column? It just strikes me as odd to utilize that for that was the old value utilized when gear based control was off. I can drop my 0 gear down to 2850, but didnt want to cause any errors.

I changed my scaling to allow finer detail. You are fine using the 2900.

It is just because of the number display format which can be set at the scaling. Although we see it as integers, but the real value has decimal points. Since the actual RPM/SPEED value is not fixed at a single value (if you log it, you will see it varies), you don't have to worry about the small difference at all.

For example, ECU will recognize 0 gear if the RPM/SPEED value is 2800 or 2900.

yeah the scaling has been changed obviously to allow more precision...

not a big deal, closest 1 is fine...

ie 2900 is basically the same as 2899...

yeah the scaling has been changed obviously to allow more precision...
Ok. My thought wasn't neccessarily the scaling but the actual number used in the 0 column. 2899.78 seemed as though it was a minute change, but a change to activate the system none the less, since it wasn't the default value. Again, 2900 was the default value used in the previous versions, and left the system deactivated. I was just making sure I didnt need to change it to some variable other than 2900.

Any word on the Max WGDC VS. Coolant Table Fix.
There have been a couple of us throw it up.
Here is what it looks like currently, I am sure it is an address issue...

That table is correct....the address for the temp should be 67be with the scaling being Temp

AFAIK 94170015 doesn't have max wgdc vs coolant temp..

the code is different between 94170015 and other ct9a roms...

67be is the coolant temp axis for cranking enrichment maps

56d2 is invalid, its halfway through the header of another table..

for 94170015 at least

But from the log, it seems WGDC remains 0 until coolant temp reaches 55 degree Celsius. Maybe there is a single switch value instead of a table as other roms? Just my guess though.

0x2b4c and 0x2b4e look like they might be temp related...

but in all honesty you probably dont need to touch it, 55C is too cold to be running boost anyways...

isnt it?

If I have control over it, I would like to increase the temp, not lower it.

You're right, I would like my car to be fully warmed up before I start boosting.
