Few Random Questions

1. What controls the raise in RPMs when the wheel is turned and the power steering increases the load on the engine? Is this mechanical or controlled by the ECU? If so, have these tables been defined?

2. Is there code that increases the RPMs when the clutch is pressed when the car is cold?

3. In EvoScan is there a way to make a boost gauge template that does peak and hold? Or even better, will display the highest boost until positive pressure has been reached again, then shows the peak of that "session"? Like the Blitz EBC.

Thanks

1. there is an "extra effort" ISCV adder (adding extra steps) for power steering loading, something like 10 extra steps.
2. there are several target rpm tables and ISCV step tables for different conditions.

Does anyone know which tables actually do this?

As far as number two pretty sure this is just all mechanical. When the engine is cold it idles higher and the fluid in the tranny is cold and therefore thicker than when its at operating temp so pushing in the clutch relieves the engine of that extra drag created by turning components in the tranny
