Helping a friend de-mod his 2004 evo8 from AEM to my old ecu from my own 2004 editing rom file with evo scan and came up with this.

What did I do wrong?
Do I need to do the writing in my car then transfor to his?
Main goal is to disable immobilizer and run with stock parts.
Please any help will be great. Thanks

You can flash with an incorrect immobilizer. You did not write the image, you simply compared the image you had open to the one that was on the car.

Click the right button next time with the correct/disabled immobilizer and everything should be fine . Also, reading the log might help!

 

Can't read dtc's or datalog. Tried writing a rom with no luck also.

I had a battery charger on it when attempting to write. I am located in Cleveland.

 

Apparently i am the only one that can pick up on Fost's sarcasm. Read the ecuflash log please... whatever you were flashing was the same as what is on there. Ecuflash only flashes changes in the rom, if there are none there is nothing to flash.
