^^ That is awesome!

Is there a benefit to stick with the 9417 family?

Well 9653 is a EDM ROM, and 9417 is a USDM ROM.

Some had minor issue with 9653 and some just wanna run a USDM ROM on their USDM car.

After opening evoscan, I received error that "gear" was already defined. Removed the original one. Same issue for "GMAS".
Now evoscan opens. If I right click and try to edit definitions, I get a warning that there is invalid XML data. It allows me to continue.

What did I do wrong??

I've tried starting from scratch a couple times.. not sure what the problem is. I guess I'll remove each of the lines I added one by one until the error goes away. I'll give that a try in an hour or so.

So today I go to troubleshoot it, and I'm no longer getting an error when I go to "edit data items".. interesting.

Alright, I am too lean. Especially during spoolup, I see high 11's and well into the 12's for AFR, and it holds and finally drops down to mid-low 11's at high RPM.

Now, I don't totally understand why I have to rescale my MAF for an intake pipe. An intake pipe will allow more airflow, but the MAF should meter that additional airflow and the ECU will add fuel as necessary. At least, that's how it is coming from the ECMLink world...

However, I see that I am much leaner than my fuel map. So I accept that the MAF likely needs to be rescaled.

What's the proper place to do this? The stock "MAF Scaling" table? (There's a MAF compensation table in Tephra V7..) Do I just log trims and compensate at the appropriate MAF HZ ranges?
There's a good thread in the important links thread, but it's from 07 and all of the images are broken making it kind of worthless.

Thanks!

Tommy

First you need to turn off lean spool

Next I dont usually scale MAFs for intakes, just make sure the fuel trims are within 5.

Thanks guys. I really appreciate it.

I'll go out and disable lean spool and fix my fuel trims.

I have SD sensors on the way so I guess I won't put a ton of time into MAF scaling stuff for now. I'll be going SD ASAP as I hear it works very well.

Much appreciated!

I'm really starting to feel a lot better about evoscan/ecuflash.

I'll be installing my IAT this evening. If I have time, I'll flash over to the V7 option 3 rom with speed density.
I downloaded the ROM and made some modifications to it.. But I noticed that the "MAT Scaling" table is all 320/32 the whole way down. What's the deal with that? I've seen screenshots of other tables and they have much different data.
