i took another look at your screen shot. You are using psi based control for 96940011. I use the ecu load based control along with gear control for 96940011.

There are 3 load tables for wgdc in 96940011. Typically you use #1 and #3 when using the gear control of boost. At least that is what i have.

If you have the setting very high for the swapover for gear rpm ( say well above 120 ) then the ecu uses load table #2. not 1 or 3 IIRC check that out along with mr fred's how to for gear based boost control for 96940011

I know when i converted to gear boost i had issues and could not figure it out. It turned out the adapter I made from a standard boost solenoid plug wasn't making good contact and the GM 3 port was operating intermittently.

I tune my #1 wgdc table different than #3. For first and second gear I ramp up the WGDC in the low gear table to help the boost stay flatter as the rpms are rising really fast and the turbo doesnt have enough time to catch up.

Table 2 i set the same as the high gear table so less wgdc up top to prevent overboost, so those two are set the same but table 2 isnt used if the setting for the crossover is reasonable

Right now in Georgia its warm and i run 24 tapering to 22 in 3-6th. In 1-2nd I run 25 tapering to 22 but it takes more wgdc to reduce the taper.

how much wgdc are you using ? Some cars are really sensitive to just a little bit of wgdc. ive seen some tables that start at 50% and go down to 25% then ramp to 60% at high rpm. Bryan @GST has posted several times and noted the difference on differnt cars. My personal car works well at 65% tapering to 60 then ramping up to 80 on low gear table. In cold weather i have to turn the wgdc down to 55 tapering to 45 then up to 65. Ditto for the high gear table in the cold

Hope this helps generally. sorry i dont use the ecu psi based boost

I have yet to tune my wgdc so right now its starting at 20%. Here is a screenshot of what tables I have to work with. Can you send me a copy of your 96940011.xml file so I can compare?

did you switch to a tephra rom? if you did, make sure you are using the right boost boost control setup (load based or psi based) and set your rom accordingly.
