need help mivec problems ?

need help mivec problems ?

recently i change evo 8 engine to evo 9. with harness
and GSC S1 cams

i have DTC P1012. means V.V.T Cam
i dont know what is the cause of this DTC and how to fix


anybody have something similar and can help me?

On this car i helped out we removed his evo 8 motor and installed an evo 9 motor and now we have this tiny issue , if anyone can help here we would appreciate it

DTC P1021 oil feeder control valve circuit fault The control valve should have 6.9-7.9 ohms @ 68*F . Terminal 1 of the control valve should have B+ from the MFI relay. terminal 2 of the control valve goes to the ecu terminal #32.

so if the control valve ohms out ok. you have power to the valve @#1. turn the key on(engine off) and backprobe terminal #32 at the ecu you should have 12V there with the valve pluged in. if you valve is good, you have power to the valve and at the ecu with the valve pluged in.then i believe your ECU is bad. hope this helps........

the issue is the code P1012
