need help and advice with a DTC

DTC P0136: 02 Sensor Circuit Malfunction (Bank I Sensor 2)

so how do i diagnose this DTC and what else do I have to do to eliminate this problem?

I tried searching but it only comes up showing what P0136 means....no explanations on how to diagnose this problem.....


any help greatly appreciated

That is the sensor for the cat. Did you change the exhaust?

Thats your post CAT sensor. either its just fu*ked, you changed somthing on the exhaust and left it unplugged, or check for corrosion in the connector...

thanks guys...yeah i changed my exhaust and built my engine...so yeah i cant imagine how much heat is f*cking up that sensor...thanks guys
