Go to AZAWD.org... there's plenty of good info there.

both of them aren't going to be able to tune your car for **** if you don't take that junkass typhoon intake off.

srsly do a search about that peice of ****. PM al, or DB or AMS and ask how good that thing works.

go back to stock air box. you'll gain 20whp

Rich@Dynocomp. Steep install pricing, but you won't regret the overall service and experience.

And get rid of the Typhoon. That thing is starving your engine. If you need a good intake I have a used HKS Suction Kit available.

Mynes has my vote.ve seen more EVOs out of mynes then vivid. I choose Mynes to do all my tuning based on customer service and they are great and their tuning is next to none. Besides does vivid have their own custom kit all done in house all the welding and fabrication no they dont all they do is buy a kit from a distributor and slap it on a car and tune it where as mynes will sell you their own kit and install it for you no problem and also their 2.4s are monsters I know ive been in the shop road race car. Mynes all the way

hey bro, the best way is to talk to the shops that you'd like to use and get some interaction. Letting them know what you'd like the car to do is the best way to base your decision. We've had a few Evo 9's in the 11's with basic bolt-on's running Sunocco Race gas.

Being one of the people who DEVELOPED and released EcuFlash, we tend to have an inside edge when it comes to tuning, and we are also a MoTeC Dealer in AZ

FYI: our tuning maps are protected once it is tuned. We do this for two reasons: 1) to protect your car from being tampered with; 2) to protect our intellectual property rights. If you're looking to have open-access to your ecu, then we are probably not going to be able to comply with that.

BTW: that Typhoon intake is a hp killer, might want to switch it out with a factory air box

cheers.
mike

I'm not a fan boy - I also think it is a better venue for figuring out decent local tuners than a national website in a engine/turbo/drivetrain section. There's more people with experience with tunes on a forum where the shops are located.

PS - super witty name change on the forum
