What is your required TPS for launch map set at? If it is set high, at 70% for example, you will hit the stationary rev limitter on the normal map, then as you increase the throttle and hit 70%, you will suddenly jump to the launch map changing your timing from 30(ish) to -10 instantly. This will cause lots of knock.

its set at the stock tephra value of 40%

Having another look the second maps i posted are a lot smoother in transition, i might see if i can log with the new maps

Also i might increase my stat rev limit to the same as my rev limit so what you posted above will never happen

And ill change my TPS value to say 60% so i have to have more then half throttle to enable the launch maps

If your stat rev limiter is set to 5500, the ecu will interpolate from -10 and 31 deg timing with your map. Id smooth it out from 5500-6000, and maybe even carry it out to 6500 just to make sure.

Raising your stat rev limit to the normal rev limit will essentially just disable it, why bother? Id leave the TPS at 40, smooth out your launch map a bit more and try again.

What speifer is saying is that you dont want the car to be on the normal map when you start hitting your stat rev limit, then have it switch to your launch map. You want it to be on the launch map earlier (lower TPS threshold) so it is a smooth transition to your stat rev limit.

Ive moved the stat rev limit then there is no way the car is going to be jumping between maps, i give it another go during the week.

Thanks mate
