94170008 to 94170015 question

Sorry if this is a dumb question. I've been searching and readcing as much as i could for this. I downloaded the stock 94170015 ROM and when I open it in Ecuflash, the boost limit table is all messed up. It has these RPM settings:
250 = 230
281 = 230
312 = 225
255996 = 225
136265 = 225
255996 = 225
136242 = 225
42 = 225
115199 = 225

Im using Ecuflash 1.43.3000 now and it still has this. I'm not sure if that's just how it is for some reason, or if the definition xml is wrong. I didnt change the xml file at all. im just using the one that comes with ecuflash install.

Is the definition file wrong, or do i need to fix the rpm values in the rom?

if you are using the defs for the 008 rom you need to change the address for the rpm in 015. 008=6b7e change to 015 =6dd2

Thanks Jorge.

I'll double check that tonight in the definition file. But I thought EcuFlash would automatically use the proper definition file for the ROM.

I didn't upgrade the ROM at all yet. My car currently has the 94170008 ROM, and I was going to update it before I mess with any tuning.

I just downloaded the new 94170015 ROM, opened it with Ecuflash, and noticed the funky RPM's listed. When I open it that way, doesn't Ecuflash know its the 94170015 ROM and automatically grab the right definition file for it? Or do I need to do something to tell it which definition file to use for each ROM?

Ah. That was it. So the ROM definition that comes with ECUFlash is wrong for that in 94170015. What's the best place to find any other updates to that .xml file?

Sorry for reviving an old thread, but how do you change the rom from 94170008 to 94170015? Is there a way you guys can send me the 94170015 rom with directions on how to update my 94170008 with it? Thanks.

goto Evoscan website and download the stock 94170015 rom and xml. if your current 0008 rom is untuned, you will just flash the new 0015 rom to you ecu using ecuflash. If its tuned you will need to copy your settings from 0008 rom to the rom 0015. and then proceed to flash.
