I have a new laptop running Windows 7. I am able to log using Evoscan v2.6, but for some reason EcuFlash 1.42 is not allowing me to read the ECU. I can write and compare, just not read. Advice ?

For Read : I just get the box that pops up (empty) with the Read button unselectable and the Cancel button.

 

I'm having the same problem did u get a reply on this ??

 

as per merlin:

"On earlier versions of ecuflash, this read window would come up blank with no vehicle type to select. If this happens, close the application and copy the contents of the "read templates" folder into your ROM directory and then ecuflash will find the files it wants"

Ohh nelly I got it working last night all I had to do was change the "rom directory" in options
why that works?? I have no clue but it does
