I have an open port 1.3u cable I bought of a evom member that I am having difficulties with.


I installed the newer version of EcuFlash and when I plug in the USB to computer (Vista BTW) The "Found new hardware" box opens up.
I have searched many different forums and threads. I have tried every idea that was out there.

This is a list of things I have done

1. Unistall and reinstall evoflash
2. Delete Inf files per evoscan website.
3. Install FTDI driver and unistall.
4. New battery in car with charger (so voltage is good)
5. Manually install the drivers



Please if there is something I am missing let me know.






I have a car that wont start after a motor swap, The problem is dash and computer are from different car. I cant find immobiliser that matches the computer!

 

Allright got the drivers figured out, but new problem.


will not communicate with ecu.

any out of the ordinary ideas let me know
