This is the wire used for ADC map switching. This is a White-Black Stripe wire that runs from ECU Pin 115 to the Fuel Temp Sensor harness, right on top of the fuel tank/beside the pump/etc.

The location is right by the trunk/fuel tank lever on the driver side.

I apologize for the horrid quality picture (and the gravel on the floormat), but figured it was better than nothing. If nobody comes up with a proper guide, I'll take some photos and do it properly at the end of the month.

Essentially, cut this wire and ground with a ~250 ohm resistor (I actually used 221ohm because I just had a bunch) with the failsafe on the meth kit of your choice. Follow the wiring diagrams posted by tephra in the second post. Obviously, the cut portion of wire used is the forward portion, the bit still connected to Pin 115 Make sure you use the Resistor ADC Mode, or you'll throw a CEL because the car is confused.

Are you using the AEM kit or Aquamist?

I have the AEM and am going to attempt this

I put a wiring digram for AEM/HFS/CM on the first page..

HFS/CM is a better failsafe method, AEM requires extra relay

Great work Tephra as usual. The bar has been destroyed now in stock ECU tuning for the X

crazy cool just one question I have maybe I missed it but are we able to do gear based mivec for agressive spool and then in higer gear not have to combat surge or will this be a version 2 feature. Anyway great work and expect a donation when I finally get my fp green set up put together.

I don't believe he has gear based MIVEC in this yet. I think Gunzo did that though, so you could probably incorporate yourself.

Yeah we are still waiting for that...

The big turbo guys would really love this ...

1-2 or 1-3 use very aggressive MIVEC and then set up 4-5th for either cruising and gas mileage or just use a less aggressive version of the 1-3th gear cam settings...

My new turbo will need this for sure.

It's version 1 for a reason.

I'm sure tephra wants a bit of a break from all this, he's put out an awesome "product". When he starts up version 2, he might add more fun things.

is there anyway to tell what map your currently running? Im thinking of using this for swapping between e85 and pump. Is there some way to see what map you are on or do you just have to try to keep track in your head?

Thank you Tephra and all those that contribute so much to the community.

Yes, there will be an IC sprayer light illuminated on the dash when you are on the alt map.

The ICS light (to the left of 'TARMAC' on the MID) blinks when on the AltMap, it does not when on normal map. Very obvious.
