what does the fuel temp senor do besides the obivious? whats the purpose of the senor.

 

gotcha I havent messed with the software bc of lack of having a cable...can you use use any OBD II to USB cable?

 

it goes into the algorithm for EVAP - so basically the ECU decides when to vent the fuel tank into the intake manifold...

I did some quick measurements of stock cars and picked a "middle of the road" value to replace the FT sensor with.

It *shouldn't* cause any problems.

Only matters on Altmap Master=4 obviously

It's been pretty well tested, but not as much as the other roms - so early adopters please be a bit more cautious

 

So in the usdm 08 gsr version, in the XML it wants to inherit xxxx80022, didn't have that XML at the time of download so I just changed it to inherit 0015 which is what my stock rom
Inherits.

My question is, is that going to brick my ecu if I flash it to the car. All the definitions were there and had the correct values. Just wanted input from you guys before I try to flash it to my car.
