I think the answer was drive longer. I noticed the same thing so I just ran the car out to a higher RPM. i also didn't remember that my tuner had raised my rev limit, and the car was still pulling past redline, so it helped my peak power, and chart.

but...now that I look at it, that fall off is kind of annoying because I took the car up to 7500rpm I believe, and on the graph it doesn't even make it to 7000.

Hope to have 1.0.8 ready in a couple of days ... no promises as even though Im a god ... I still take a christmas break

Just kidding. Ill wait on any last minute missing columns which a guy reported so I can put it out in this release. Then Ill let 8 go. This is a minor upgrade, but fixes some issues.

Here is a list of what is coming in 1.0.8:

1.0.8
- Added a Time column entry for Accessport logs
- Added UTF-8 decoding on column names read from files due to char(65279) showing up on the front of strings
- Eliminated some duplicate error codes
- Split car definitions to multiple files
- Changed scaling on RPM trim to fit graph exactly
- Removed IDs on car entries and column name entries
- ECU Explorer log support

new logs. started the pull earlier, and let off a little later to try to get a full representation of the powerband.

You need to use more smoothing on that chart. Probably about 3-5

I like raw data. that's the first one that's come back that jagged. the other one I posted was a lot smoother, and the smoothing on that one was set the same.

I am very intrested in the new release. I hope that the new rpm scaling will help alleviate that sudden drop off. I prefer the program. Thank you Brad , Boosted Tuning and Mellon tuning for developing it.

ODUB if you get a chance can you post another graph with more smoothing?

I understand. And yes, some run will be smoother on the same setting. Regardless, for this program to be accurate, you have to use the smoothing feature properly, which means smoothing the graph till the humps are gone.

If/when you smooth it, you'll see that it will most likely be more near 355, just like your smooth chart.

BTW, I help Brad develop VD.

Boosted_Tuning, and Mellon Tuning both help me test out the program. They are invaluable assets to the development of VD. I cant thank either of them enough.

As far as the coding goes ... that would be me. I wish I had more time to dedicate to it cause I have gotten a few requests that are good requests but I dont have the time right now to hammer them out. All in due time though. It is free after all.

I know all about smoothing charts and graphs and this and that, and you sir, are 100% correct. I really just liked looking at the high numbers on this one. sue me lol this chart is so jagged though, even at 20 smoothing it's still bumpy. I normally just set the smoothing to 3 like everyone else.
