Well I have emailed tactrix about this issue with no response. I have a 1.3u cable with the latest EvoScan software and drivers but the cable doesn't connect to EcuFlash 1.42. It connects to 1.34 just fine but I can't do tephra v7 with 1.34.

Has anyone else had this problem and if so how did you fix it?

is your cable a genuine tactrix or a limitless (evoscan) cable?

thats your problem then, some of his cables dont have the licence from tactrix, so you cant use the newer versions of Ecuflash

 

If this is the case, It would be the only answer that I haven't seen that would be the answer as to why my cable doesn't work with EcuFlash 1.42. I've tried everything else.

I'd like to know the same, I got so frustrated with it I just bought an Open Port 2.0 from Tactrix hoping that works.

 

The 2.0 will work, I just don't want to buy it if I don't need to.

 

what was happened with ecuflash 1.42.2595 ? After closed and open it got a lot of grey tables like in the picture.. The rom is the original v7. Try to reinstall ecuflash but no succes. Will these tables working ?
In the options show invalid tables and show tables beyond user level is not X, but if do it nothing is change.
