Sorry about that Otter.

Ill contact him now and see if he will give a refund, if not, I feel people should be made aware of what they are getting.

There seems to be an obvious pattern.

Yes def a pattern, I have logs to prove it :-)

Ok tamer texted me today and we talked, I made a mistake posting what I did, he did help me out alot he probably spent a good 40 hours trying to get my car right but I missed alot of stuff and was frustrated and blamed him for my car not being right when it's not his fault. He is really a good guy and helped me out with my car till 2-3 am some times. Tamer is a good guy and I apologize for posting what I did. I should of contacted him before I posted what I did. Once I contacted him he settled everything with me.

Mellon Tuning gets my vote. I know Tom is knowledgable, but I don't know of his work.

As I was saying before my post was deleted due to it causing users to pm me:

It is not hard to tune a vehicle if you can understand the simple concepts of timing
and how mbt (max brake torque) is found and achieved in every rpm level of a cars power
band.

It is simply looking at power curves and adjusting numbers and watching the differences
it makes per each degree of adjustment. Once it stops making power per degree you simply
stop advancing it. It is really that simple. The hard part is understanding how to make smooth
transitions from spool/cruise area into the WOT heavy load areas of the map. A lot of tuners
fail to realize how important smooth maps are and what they can do when compared to
"blocky" "flat" "jagged" "unsmooth" maps. Not only will it cause knock that normally wouldnt
exist if the areas were smooth, it will cause your evo to run jerky and more like an animal vs
running smooth and pulling cleaner.

I have tested every single method there is from all tuners I have seen and I have seen pretty much every
tune there is to be seen on a evo and the outcome was the smoother maps always win. Sure it takes more
time to create a smoother map, but if you want a happy customer at the end that is what it takes. I dont
have a little bolt on evo, I have $25,000 in modifications not including other misc stuff and I do all my
testing on my personal evo. I have even sacrificed a waterpump on it just to prove a point to another
shop on here that they were telling me to run to much timing at peak torque. And what do you know?
It created excessive cylinder pressure, lifted the head, overpressurized the coolant system and blew
the weep hole right out of the waterpump.. what did they say after that? NOTHING.

Moral of this information and story? Do your homework. Choose wisely. Knowledge is power, and money isn't everything. If you have money you can buy the worst tune in the world or the best tune in the world.. the decision at the end is yours and only yours.

And now since I am a vendor I am going to repost what was deleted earlier:

If you guys want tuned by me you can order through http://vr-speed.com/store/vrsf-protu...e-p-13150.html

I will be handling all VR-SPEED tunes and have 100's of referrals I can provide showing all happy customers that make good horsepower ranging from as little as 300whp to as high as 750whp. I have been tuning 4g63's since safc and pocketlogger days.

Here is a little information regarding the services: http://vr-speed.com/store/tuning.php

Keep in mind the website tuning section is not yet complete, but it should be shortly. It is setup to receive payments however.

ALSO:

If any single customer we get is not happy with the outcome of their tune in a 30 day time period, we will refund you in full no questions asked. We are not here to take peoples money and not deliver, we are here to 100% deliver what is being offered and described.

If anyone has any questions contact me on aim at either mastadogg2 or VRSF Tom and I will be happy to assist you. I like to teach customers as they become tuned, because I enjoy teaching people about their vehicles and explaining in detail what I am doing, when i am doing it. I have always been like this, and I feel it gains a very good business relationship between you and your customer. In the next week I will have around 10 new referrals to show and post results on the forum as well. If it takes 1,000 rom edits to make the customer happy then so be it. It should typically only take 8-10 on a well prepped evo that is already in good running condition.

I have lots of knowledge with E85 tuning so if you're one of those who want to switch to E85 and are afraid please feel free to pm me and I will teach you about the properties of the fuel.

Also understand I have tuned probably 50-60 people on this forum for free, so I am not here just for the money, I enjoy tuning vehicles and I love working on cars.

Ask Rogue how I transformed his 2.4 + Fp black into a beast just from mapping him properly..
He couldn't believe how much more torque/ response he received down low vs his other dyno tunes.
He was simply shocked.

Anyone I have ever tuned, I've always gained power even before full spoolup, I dont know why some people map the way they do
but a lot do not understand how important the 3d map actually can be when mapping these cars. Its all about smoothness.
