Common: No response to any known code

Can't read from the ECU, but Evoscan works and I could pull the ROM off my buddies 05 STi.

So of course I have this error code..

Without the ECUunlocker it reads:
0001
0003
FFFF
no response to any known code.

With the ECUunlocker it reads:
0001
0003
FFFF
F0F0
no response to any known code.

I've tried everything that people have said:
-Recharge batter (start the car).. but I haven't reset (disconnected) the battery..would this help?
-Run ECUunlocker in the background
-Uninstalled/Reinstalled ECUflash multiple times
-Uninstalled/Reinstalled OBD2 cable drivers
-Key is on ON

I'm starting to think its the re-flash adapter that is bad..
Any suggestions?

Mine is doing the exact same thing. Worked fine a couple months ago, tried all the fixes like 20 times...literally. I took apart the cable and one of the resistors fell out and one of the microchips was broken in half. There was continuity on the whole cable though, so I'm just getting a 2.0 cable to replace the broken 1.3 cable. Good luck on yours though.

I had this drama after my car went to the dealership to get the ISCV replaced.

turned out they worked on my car with the battery connected and blew a fuse, it was the fuse under the steering colum, check them all
