Yea I'm aware of that, but I don't think they are here taking notes on who they want to make sure and tune very conservately so a particular customer never posts an issue they had???

 

1 count of knock is not 1 degree. 3-4~ counts = 1 deg.

 

look man if i tuned someones car, then they change gas or a part.. or the weather changes big time and they get a few counts of knock and post a thread bashing me.

You bet the next time i flash there car its getting backed off bigtime. Because if it happens again the chances are very high you get on the forum crying again.

 

i dont really see the OP bashing anyone... he is just asking for peoples opinion on the log if things didnt look up to par... no need to criticize or post false statements about someone asking for help... plus are you telling me that i would be "changing gas" every time i fill up at the station? 93 is 93... he didnt put 87 in there and then post complaints about knock... yes sometimes there are "bad batches" of gas, but i think the weather probably was the bigger factor here... also, no where did he state anything negative about the tuner, and never said he was unsatisfied with the results or his experience with them... i wasnt completely satisfied with my last tune either, i thought the numbers were pretty low to be honest... but i still love the work Iveytune does and their customer service has been awesome... im sure they hate me because i always call them to ask questions i need answered... like what gap to run my plugs, etc...

and last night my F***** motor blew up on the highway on a 2nd gear pull! but im not blaming Sean or his tune for it... i think everyone seriously needs to relax...

OP i feel for you, you didnt post anything wrong, you kept within the forum guidelines, and all you did was ask what people thought... everyone likes to come in and run their mouths about sh*t to make them feel like they are noticed and that their "infinite words of wisdom" mean something in the world... plus theres thousands of people on here and i would say 1/8th of them actually know what they are talking about...

im not looking to agrue with anyone, im just saying theres no reason to be harsh on a person asking a legit question...

 

We have separate tunes for those that " log their car on their way to work " everyday.. And those that " want go as fast as possible safely ".. Derek didnt fill my signature with 50% of those records by not knowing what he is doing.. if the 600WHP stock motor car he tuned didnt let go then the tune with 2-4 counts isnt going to let go either..

So now we have a 1-10 scale questionnaire for our customers.. on a scale of 1-10 how fast do you want your car to be.. 1 being 0 counts of knock and stock boost level and 10 as fast as we can make it SAFELY..

And yes we do pay very close attention to those who i find are seeking advice from under qualified tuners and Self Proclaimed tuners.. Everyone with a Cable and a laptop is an EVO Tuner..
