Any other ideas guys? I can read/write and log with Evoscan...but ECUflash just won't connect!

 

check to make sure the wire on the white plug isnt f'ed up.

 

It's all good. And if the cable was bad it wouldn't work with Evoscan. I can Read/Write ROMs with Evoscan but cannot with Ecuflash.

There's gotta be some way to make it work??

 

I remember reading a posting on here that said the new version of EcuFlash 1.43 and EvoScan 2.7 would not work with the H8 ecu's with the 1.3 cable. I will try to find the posting and put the link here. Do you know anyone with a Tactrix 2.0 cable.

 

No i do not know anyone with a Tactrix 2.0 cable. EVOscan works PERFECTLY FINE WITH MY CABLE AND ECU.

It's ECUFLASH that doesn not work!

 

not sure if you solved your problem.. but did you set up your comm ports correctly? ECUflash and your laptop have to have the same ones selected.

 

nevermind. that's the problem i had with EvoScan. not ECUflash. LOL.

 

Haven't solved the problem, just been using EVOscan to write/read the rom and ECUflash to edit.

 

You can read/write ROMs with Evoscan?? I never knew that. I guess I've never had to try.
