LM1 not working with EVOSCAN GPS help required

Im sure its probably an operator error (ie me) however i cannot get a reading to appear on the gps unit, when connecting it says 2 usb devices found but simply displays nothing.
I have tried connecting the lm1 serial (without usb convertor) output directly to my laptop running windows evoscan 2.6 and it works fine, so im guessing its an issue with the usb-serial convertor needed when using the gps version. Is anything required to log an lm1 via the gps unit? i am using the usb convertor supplied by evoscan.com

Also cant get 2 byte load to display correctly it reads 0 at idle yet reads correctly when logged via windows evoscan v2.6

any ideas as to what im not doing correctly??

other then these 2 issue it is a fantastic unit

LM1, I thought you said you had an LC1? I didn't know that anyone still bought LM1 widebands, everyone uses LC1, its cheaper and better. LM1 has not been tested on EvoScan GPS because I haven't had an LM1 for 3 years. I did borrow an LM1 3 years ago when I first wrote EvoScan v0.99 Perhaps when you are back over my way we can test it and get it running.

My website only has these listed for GPS Nav: Supports ZT2, LC1, AEM
http://www.evoscan.com/mitsubishi-su...bd2-can-cables

Everyone uses 1 Byte Load now. aka "Load" in Evoscan GPS v2.2 it has the full range of load values required for tuning.
Code:
        <DataListItem DataLog="N" Color="" Display="Load" LogReference="Load1B" RequestID="41" Eval="1.2*x" Unit="load" MetricEval="" MetricUnit="" ResponseBytes="1" GaugeMin="0" GaugeMax="270" ChartMin="0" ChartMax="270" ScalingFactor="1" Notes="" Priority="1" Visible="False" />

yep i have an LM1 but it works fine on 2.6 when connected directly via the serial port, can i log 1 byte load without needing to mod the ecu?

I have the same issue with LM1 & EvoScan PPC v2.2. Hamish was on my cpu via remote access about a month ago collecting data to fix the bug to allow the LM1 to log. I don't know how far he's gotten since then, but when we last spoke he said it was a pretty easy fix. I just bumped the EVOScan GPS thread with a reminder. Hopefully it won't be too much longer... I really don't feel like buying another wideband.

So is the LM1 able to be logged in Evoscan now? Not using a ppc?

yeah I'm pretty sure it works on EvoScan and EvoScanGPSNav.. unfortunately I only have 3 widebands for testing: AEM/LC1/ZT2.

send me a support ticket again, and we can set up a remote session for me to get it running for you.

what about connecting the LM1 to the ecu? does it have a 0-5v output you con wire into the ecu?

Lm-1

There's a lot of us still using the LM-1. Always worked fine for me but I haven't tried it on evoscan 2.7 yet.
