Cannot Connect 1.3U Cable to any car
Cannot Connect 1.3U Cable to any car
I received my brand new Tactrix 1.3U cable in the mail today. After 5 hours of trying, no matter what I do, I cannot get it to connect via any program to either my Evo IX OR my gf's 02 WRX.
I have tried the following:
- Laptop using Windows Vista
- Laptop using Windows 7
- Mitsulogger
- ECUFlash 1.42
- ECUFlash 1.41
- RomRaider (on the WRX only)
- ECUUnlocker (on the Evo only because it was once ecutek'd)
- Checked voltage on both cars
On the Subaru I get this error:
And on the Evo I get this error:
These are the same errors as if I do not connect the OBD II side of the cable to anything. It's as if the car isn't even plugged in. However, when plugged into the evo the ACD lights flash (all 3) and the ABS light flashes. I've read this is what is supposed to happen.
I am aware that this 1.3U cable has the 9th pin, but that doesn't explain why it wouldn't work with the Subaru. I have tried searching for different drivers, other that what comes with ECUFlash 1.42 but all I can find is the OpenPort 2.0 driver.
Is it possible the cable is defective? Are there any other driver/software configurations I should try before sending it back?
I appreciate your help!
