Stock Evo Tweeking Maps?

Does anyone have any maps for the evo 8-9 that are using stock injectors, turbo but higher boost....? I know my friend has some that were released for his 2010 RA Lancer that allow him to gain more power with just a reflash.

Was hoping I could find some for the older evo's.

agreed, however I raise two points: The subaru community has a bajillion base maps and stage maps to choose from and they accept the concept of running somone elses map with ease given the proper caution is used; second the COBB Accessport for the evo does have stage maps intended to be used as such!!!!

http://www.accessecu.com/accessport/...S_EVO9_06.html

Just sayin that you dont need a custom tune if you dont want to push the envelope: you can be conservative and still have decent increases in output.

Now, for the OP, I cannot contribute to the stage map for ya, im in my infancy of tuning myself. also, given that there isnt any advertised basemaps, id suggest a email tune from a reputable vendor on here. Will prob net you tons over an OTS map.

Very well put, but email tunes are like the COBB tunes "general" unless u have the exact bolt ons for that stage and even then it will be a tune so safe that even eBay parts will suffice. I do agree that if u are not wanting to squeeze every bit of power out that u can go that route and it will be fine, but honestly I think if everything is stock, that is the best place to start tuning yourself. Cable and software are very inexpensive vs an access port. With that said, that is when a email flash would be worth it, bc u could go and alter it as needed.

I got a nice tune. A guy emailed me and I know of him and he did an amazing job. Still gotta log for him to make tweaks but my car was slammed on the freeway right after cashing his tune.

When it's all done, go ahead and give us a review of this tuner if you would.
