Check you don't have a problem with the second power plug. The wires on these can become disconnected on the old 1.3 cables, though I've not seen a problem on the OP2

have the same issue with 1.3U on my EVO IX. 2.0 works well. this 1.3U works well on friend's EVO VIII.

Start the engine and warm it up a little bit, it will charge the battery enough to be able to write to the ECU.
