can someone plese confirm this

I am using v7 96530706. Before i go and pull up my carpet so i can unplug my rear o2 sensor and remove it from the vehicle...can someone answer my question so i don't waste my time?. Can i completely disable all the signals for rear o2 in my rom so i don't get a check engine light when i unplug and remove the sensor?
I have read all the threads about this but they are all ancient and full of doing mechanical fixes, jumping wires and using resistors and ****. I am looking to turn everything off in my rom and not do any of that dinosaur mechanical crap.
i know i can disable the light from coming on due to not having a cat but i am not sure if i can completely unplug and remove the sensor due to the heating circuit issue.

Thanks in advance!

If it's not in the basic xml package, the "code" to do it is available on here. I do not have a rear O2 plugged in at all, yet no CEL and it was done only through the ECU.

It can be done with the heater patch and acamus's odbii force pass inspection patch in tandem.

As far as I know, everything is fully disabled in the ECU using ECUflash for my rear 02 sensor...I actually just pulled all my interior out to take out my sound deadening material...I removed my rear 02 while doing that and ran my wideband back there...My car won't be running for another couple weeks but Ill post in here once it is, if I have an issue with the rear 02...

roadspike: are you saying its necessary to use both of the patches for this to work for me? i don't have to worry about a diagnostic scan showing everything as "pass" for inspection here. so will using just the heat patch work for me?
Thank you

Well disabling the heater throws a CEL on its own so if you want the light to go away you need to employ both patches. I really can't recall if you have to clear out the code after or not and it doesn't come back or if it goes out on its own.
