question about injector scaleing
Ok this doesn't make any since to me. I have Tom tuning my car for me but for some reason my scaleing isn't right. He tells me that 770's should be where my injector scaleing should be with fic 850 injectors. Well problems I am having is ive spent hours driving around tring to get this thing in the right trim for him to start tuning but every time I go out, the injector scaleing to be where he wants it with in -5% it is in the 835 range.
Now I have checked for boost leaks and found a couple, I have swapped cams, I have done everything he has asked me to do, but being I bought my evo the way it is I havent done much to it to make this thing going wacko. Any ideas what the hell I am doing wrong, or some things I should look for to get this thing back to where he needs it to be?

we had this car all done before and scaled right.. then his turbo died, and he shipped it back to map and they fixed it.. during that time he found exhaust leaks before the turbo and other stuff as well as he was removing the turbo.
i told him it was not normal for his 850 FIC to be taking 860 scaling on 93octane when other cars only take 770-800..
He claims he had the scaling set to 860 and trims were +1.. i told him to go one step down in cc to make the trims negative since i like fuel trims on the negative side vs positive..
he told me after he did this the car barely ran etc, that tells me theres something else going on. so i told him that, and thats why hes posting this i guess.
ill look more into his scaling and see if i can find something out of the ordinary. I explained to him how to set the trims so he took it upon himself to try it himself, so im just going off by what hes reporting to me..

Yeah I am just tring to get this damn thing running right. Tom explained to me as stated above and yes I took my it upon myself to get the scaleing right. I have a MAP Rev 3 intake, but I did find some boost leaks that I fixed but I guess I have to take it up further to 30 psi. I guess I am just doing what the tuner tells me and getting frustrated because the car isn't doing what he wants it to and it doesn't seem right to him which pisses me off cause he does this for a living where I am just tring to get the car finished thats all.
