Any definitive fix for RPM hang?

I have done a decent amount of searching and all I can seem to find is speculations and random things that maybe seems to work once.
I am running a basicly completly stock tune with tephra V7 installed with a couple of rom patches. I have an intake, 3" straight pipe, wideband, about to install mbc and the rest is suspention.
I have rearly bad thottle hang when I run my car hard or in the heat. It is anoying but not an issue if commuting but do to my bike being down, I am taking my car to Palamar Mtn this weekend (7.5 miles of no straight lines running up the side of a mountain) I want to run it hard but really need my engine braking and dont want to run it into a corner have my car stuck at full rev and throw myself through a gaurd rail. I have be working on building my car for this type of driving so I need to fix this regardless of what I do this weekend, But would love to try it out for the first time.
Please let me know any help is greatly appretiated.

Reconnect the TB coolant lines and replace the ISCV/re-adjust idle properly.

Worked like a charm on my buddy's 05 MR with the meanest throttle hang in the world. Someone did the TB coolant bypass "mod" and his newer style plunger/spring type ISCV went bad.

Check if your car is "modded." Also, your ISCV has gone bad if you've done the whole ECU troubleshooting route.

Good luck man.

did you ever get this issue resolved? I have a throttle hang as well it was after I had a clutch put in.

Could it be the clutch causing the rpm's to hang?

Bump. I have an 06 MR and mine has started to hang right at 2,500rpm fairly often during short drives. Any info would be helpful.

So, the fix to this issue is to simply have the car properly tuned?

so how bad is bypassing the coolant lines? most of the aftermarket TB's ive seen do not have connections for the coolant lines.

my IX has always had "throttle hang/wandering idle" even before the big mods made their way onto the car. is it definitely a tuning issue?

Yes. There is some tables in the 05-06 ROM that need to be changed to get rid of the throttle hang.
