Anyone else using a MAC to tune with Ecuflash??
dell xp
Thanks for the input- I'll look into the Dell
some of the guys on here have mentioned a cheaper computer being slow-
how long does it take to switch a map with the Dell XP?
Also, thinking about going into a mac store to talk to some people in person
as I don't know if the bootcamp, vmware fusion- windows xp options are just as
viable or not?
Cheers again,
Jim

Thanks MrFred- that would sure be nice and simple : )
Right Now, in Ecuflash, I am now able to change maps, however when I read from ecu- I am unable to save the current Rom- a screen pops up that says,
"There was an error writing this ROM file. See the message log for details."
not sure what to do next?

I've never had one in my hands, but I expect that the "rugged" tough Panasonics are very durable. They are the one with the thick, rubber hide on them. The business tough models (what I had) are only meant to be a little more sturdy than a regular laptop.
