V7.... can you map swap a pump gas AND E85 map?

I'd like to know if it's possible to run the car daily on a pump gas tune, and then use the dual map option to run an E85 map for track use? Have not looked at V7 ECUFlash in a long time so I can't remember if you have the option to scale the larger injectors for each map.

Also is there anything I should know that would make this a bad idea to swap between the two fuels. E85 is new to me personally so I'm not sure about all of the do and dont's. I'd basically think to follow the same rules as running a pump gas and race gas map on the car. Only switch fuels when the fuel level is low.. watch for knock and a/f.

Yes you can do that. Just gotta have a simple map switching harness made/purchased from a vendor.

Yup what ralph said; im doing the same thing once my car is out the shop, you can buy the harness from buschur, or ttp (maybe maperformance) for about 25bucks which should be about the price to source the parts by hand

Would I need a map switching harness? I can switch maps by pushing down the gas pedal before I start the car with V7. Am I missing something? Sorry for my ignorance, just want to make sure I'm on the same page as you guys.

From what i remember you can do it that way but i personally want a switch so i wont need to worry about accidentally switching back and forward; in the ecuflash i think there is a option to choose which one, im now rebuilding my laptop so i cant check right now

I ran mine like that for a few months. 93 main map/E85 on the Alt map.

I had it done by TPS and never once had an accident where I was on the wrong map.

Yes you have to scale injectors for each map.

Always fill up the new fuel to a full tank to offset residual fuel left in the tank.

You can use TPS, FMIC sprayer switch or adding 5v to an ecu pin to trigger altmaps.
