Going lean above 6000
That's what Tom did intitially. The trims are -1/0 at 1462 which is where the car runs best around town but the fuel table is max rich and wot runs are in the 14 AFR range with the fuel table in the 7's...not even sure how that's possible *sigh*
At 1392 it's running out of room in the fuel table. At 1329 it gets obviously way better, fuel table is in the 10/11 range with afr's in the 12's. This is a 2.0 also, not a stroker.
The part I still don't get is that 1st and 2nd are pig rich, 10's...3rd is high 12's and low 13's...what in the mother freaking heck is going on with this car, UGH!
Tonight I'm pulling my FPR to check it out and then removing my aftermarket fuel filter temporarily to see if it's causing an obstruction.

Plain and simple, this is exactly and I mean exactly the issue I am having. It's as if you have a choice of the injectors working properly for cruising or for full throttle (or in my case cruise or idle or full throttle) but not a combination of all. I personally think it is a software issue and not mechanical, as that's the exact path of thought process I went with. To reduce the massive richness in lower gears that's where accel enrichment helped, but I couldn't solve the issue completely there. The one other issue I had with going lean was running low on fuel with our particular surge tank design, but that was/is being solved.

If SD I would say maybe there is an issue in the ratio at WOT. Hard to say without a log.

What mods? 1-2nd can run leaner if the boost ends up lower overall. Does it have a double pumper and have you been able to verify both come on and arent bypassing fuel (if they do?)

im 99% sure i just found the issue. i forgot to unlock the IPW load limit on his rom.
Tom which rom is he on 9653 or 9417? With the 2000cc injectos I noticed some strange stuff going on with the fuel map in my car, switched to 9417 and it looks like a normal map again... it has something to do with the Temp + Baro comp'd load on 9653 with the huge injectors it seems...
If you get over a certain load (over 380 1byte if memory serves) then the ecu basically cuts fueling... no matter how much fuel you throw at it...

it caps the ipw. jcsbanks wrote a sentence about it. the search buttons nice lol.
Thanks Freddie ill put him on 9417 if the ipw limit removal doesnt fix his issue.
hes on 9653 right now.

fixed it. was the ipw load cap.. cars pig rich now. not necessary on SD tho.. before someone goes and destroys their car trying it on SD lol. doubt it would rev anyways.

skim through here.. https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ec...eing-guys.html

..... well not really in 100F its a bit hard to do that. guarantee it will be done when it gets colder out tho with your setup.
