Except for it running pig rich when you shift and your bov vents

How did you confirm that your car is running -11.8psi at idle? That's pulling more vacuum than stock. Stock is around -8 to -9psi (roughly 16-18in/HG of vacuum).

I thought evos idled at ~18psi of vacuum with stock cams and stock idle settings. At least thats what my boost gauge showed until cams were added. I see roughly -12psi with cams and 1,000rpm idle.

See my sig, engine was rebuilt with lots of goodies. Using evoscan with JDM map to read vacuum.

Don't trust your boost gauge, mine showed the same thing.

You are confusing in/HG of vacuum with psi. Boost gauges that show vacuum are almost always showing it in in/HG, not PSI. as a rough estimate, in/HG is double the PSI rating. So if your gauge shows -18in/HG, that would roughly be -9PSI.

@mithranir

Assuming that your JDM MAP PSI formula in evoscan is correct, I would still be surprised you are pulling that much vacuum unless your idle is very high. What is your elevation? I'm pretty sure Houston is close to sea level right? Your sig didn't say your engine was rebuilt with lots of goodies, it could have been rebuilt with stock components for all I knew lol. Plus, your sig basically shows that you blast through parts really fast

Basically, I rebuilt it with the AMS 2.0L rebuild kit, AMS oil pan, AMS balance shaft delete kit, ARP main studs and K1 billet crank.

Denso makes the original O2 sensors.
Is this the o2 sensor that goes in the o2 housing? I need a new one and I'm quoted $365.00!!!!

These guys want $100.00 for the same thing:

but $65 + $10.71 S&H is the goods!!

Please advise, ASAP. I'm stalled once again.

Same problem

Hey guys! I have an EVO X full bolt ons! Currently running a Cobb stage 3 map. My AFR cruising is around 11. I don’t know if it’s the tune or if a have a bad part (bov, O2, MAF, a leak). I bought the car a month ago and didn’t realize it was running so rich.
what do you guys think I should do ?
