Check your settings on "Boost Cut Load" and "Boost Cut Delay"

The percentage value essentially equals load, and the delay timer in your case is set to 1 second. Let me explain.

If your load goes over for instance in your case over 151 at 4k for more than one second boost cut is going to kick in.

What you have to do is set your percentages just a little bit higher than what you are hitting in those particular areas of the map.

Here's what I mean, if you hit 300 load at 4k your boost cut should be a little above that in an overboost situation it will cut boost to save you the motor.

The load is dipping out due to boost cut kicking in and cutting the load back and less strain on the motor.

That's looks to be exactly what is happening here. The screen shot of your log looks like your hitting around 280 load when fuel is cut. Try setting your 'Boost Cut Load' just a tad higher then the peak load recorded in your log.

actuly it maintains boost after the load dips, which only happens after 300+ load and if you look at it like its in its proper place you can see the load would continue to rise to like 330 stabilize then start to drop off like normal. its not till you see the hard drop of load that the cut happen just after 5000rpm please take a close look at the log maybe it will help cant really tell much from the screen shot
thank you for your help guys!

can some one please explain the reasion why the load looks the way it does when it drops to 0 + anything above 300?
and fore the boost cut load you say its equal to load, but i cant belive even a stock evo would would be @ 150 load? i know ive ben pushing over 250 load since 2006 so i would think i would have had this issue a long time ago, and its only started to happen since e85 and cranking the boost up.
lastly would fixing boost leaks cause a leaner fuel mix @ WOT? for some reason im getting a real bad lean condition?

You are logging "load 1 byte", so I assume you are running tephra. Doesn't 1 byte load clip at 1.2 * 255 = 306?

Secondly, your boost cut load is definitely very low. Even mine is set at 245% load.

yes teph v7. not sure about the 1 byte load clipping, but if that is true that's what it looks like .
so i should log with 2byte? do i need to make any other changes?
any suggestions for settings on the boost cut load at my power level?
