Question Splice or not to splice?

I looked a little bit but did not see anything like this, so I wanted to get a poll.

Do/Did you prefer to get the serial connectors to log AFR with EvoScan or did you splice into the ECU for your readings?

*If there is already a thread like this, I do apologize, but I did not see it.*

EDIT: Crap! I accidentally put this in EVO X forums, if mods could move to the EVO 1-9 it would be appreciated. Thank you.
