Bricked ECU HELP!! 2010 GSR

The other day I was flashing a map and it failed, I tried again and it failed, like a big dummy I took the key out of the ignition. Now when I turn on the Ignition on all it does is the fans spin, will not connect to ECUFLASH, and the car wont start.

So I researched and tried to upbrick it. I have been able to Alt flash followed up by a normal flash and they were both successful, but after I install the ECU the fans still spin, I can't connect to ECUFLASH, and the car will still not stop.

So I was hoping someone could help me fix this issue. I don't know if there is a way to fix it, should I buy a new ECU from the dealership, should send it in to tactrix for repair? (What if that doen't fix the issue?)

Here is how I was able to flash to the ECU directly.

Chris built me a harness when I was out that I have had to use a few times now out of the thousands of successful flashes. Did you make sure the pins arent bent on the ECU when its going back together? I havent had the issue but I had seen others have that. The other thing you dont get into is after you flash the recovery mode, did you turn that off then reflash with the a stockish ROM like David asked?

I made the mistake of doing that once and then realised it and had to pull it all back out and flash again.

No I just used a different modded map. I am going to try and flash the stock map back and try one more time tomorrow and see what happens. If not I guess I will just send it off to tactrix for repair.
When I flashed with the recovery mode and it said successful, I unchecked the block and loaded it again which it said it was successful. I then unplugged the pins, and put it back in the car, hooked back up the battery and turned on the ignition and the fans came on, it wouldn't start, and it was still stuck in that mode. I did just check the pins and they were fine, none of them were bent.

I bricked my ECU once. I fixed it by flashing to stock and then was able to flash other maps.

I found a stock 55570005 Rom & xml file on here.
http://www.evoscan.com/roms/mitsubishi_test/
So I think I will try and re install ECUFLASH and flash this rom and see what happens. I guess I can flash i now and then take it to my car in the morning when I go to work.

I tried to start her up again but it was the same as before the fan just kept spinning. So I sent the ecu to tactrix for repair. I hope she will start after I get the ecu back.

OK today I shot a few VID's of me trying to un-brick my ECU. As you can see from the First Vid my Mechanic had the car running and I even flashed a couple if maps with out any issues. I guess the battery voltage was low or I must have kicked the ECU, I am not sure.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yVL_mcxWEls

So I looked at the following pages and tried to un-brick the ECU and get the car to start: http://www.***************/forums/sh...ad.php?t=29820
http://www.***************/forums/sh...ad.php?t=27872
http://www.***************/forums/sh...ad.php?t=48415
http://www.evoscan.com/technical-veh...x-ecu-recovery

I have tried all of these ways and I get the same results: I can read & upload maps when the ecu is out, but when I place the ECU back in the car it will not start and I will get an ERROR Message. I cant write or read to the ecu from my laptop at that point.

OK so here is my Video of my Successfully Alt & Normal flashing the ECU with the ECU out.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n_Z0GUA59pw

Then I went out to the car, here you can see that even thought I can Successfully upload any stock or different map map the EVO X is still stuck in this program mode. The same thing happen after I got my ECU Back from Tactrix. Now Kevin from Tactrix has been a great help at trying to help me trouble shoot this issue, but so far no fix.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wvWIcXeVt-o

Now since you seen the EVO X stuck in program mode, here is what happens when I try and hook up with ECUFLASH.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p5TpY_xunvk

OK so after it didn't work I thought I would try clear DTC which the car does read and works. This seem strange to me, which leads me to believe that my OB2 port is fine.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQp50ukDfIQ

So at this point I an not sure what is going on with the car. I have taken out the battery and the 7.5 fuse, left it sit for a couple days and still its a NO GO. Even with the ECU out it's still stuck. This leave me to believe that maybe the ECU its self has a battery in it or the information is stored some where else as well.

Well I hope you guys can maybe come up with some good ideas where to go next. Wednesday I am going to speak the owner of Tactrix's. The only other thing I can think to do is fine a ECU shop and replace the pins in the ECU or buy a new ECU from the dealership and hope that works.

I am really hoping some Gear heads will chime in, also when I try to start the car I do hear a light buzzing coming from the fuze box inside. I did take out all the fuzes in the car and all of them were in good shape. Its always fun to be that one guy on the planet with a unique problem.

WELL THERES TWO OF US SO DONT WORRY MY FRIEND!! that said , im happy that i didnt send the ecu to tractix and got to save the money , theres no magical memory on the ecm it self , our problem might be on the etacs , again , u said no clicking thats actually good and u get to clear the dtc wich i cant so i still have the most efed up lancer title man ,at this point u might want to try the etacs or fuse box under dash , its by ur left knee, check for clicking fuses etc. if theres no other choices u need to go to the stealership sorry dude , lmk and happy hollidays

I ended up checking all of the fuses. They are good. I don't know how to check relays yet. I don't get a clicking, but I do get a buzzing or feed back noise when I try and start it coming from the fuse box.
