Cause of the IPW Jitters on SD

People, I'm just throwing this out here.....is it some how a correlation with the MAF? its changed on my Evo VIII to the point of surging at cruise. Any updates? I'm about to put my MAF back on, but I would miss the off idle manors with my turbo! after that it sucks....wasn't this bad at first... Two years running. I still appreciate all the hard work everybody has done!!!

So this is a dead issue? I wish I had the knowledge to find a cure for this..... This load related surge is nuts! There has been so much development here that I find it hard to believe that up to this date there has not been a fix yet. I'll be there first to beg for one!

What ROM are you running? Im running 96531706 with no surge or jitter issues. The 3d SD Rom had this issue and i dont believe it was ever resolved.

3d SD rom uses sames algorithm for table look up in all roms including evo 7/8/9 roms. Jitter problem was already there with 2d sd roms, only one that works fine is evo IX rom. So in my opinion it is not 3d, it is something else in 7/8 roms which causes this issue. Also 9417 users have reported jitterless actions.

We have been tuning IX with 3D table and it run perfectly, no jitters or odd load problems. But if someone has good data to show this problem in load I'm interested to see it and learn.

Jitters

Ive ran them both...96531706 & 94170015....9631706 being The worst. I had jitter fix number 1 running on 94270015....im going to try number 2. I'll report back......#2 by its self.

Im running jitter fix 2 ans 3 on my rom, with no issues. 96534706 had issues that last i checked they never worked out so i switched back to 96531706. If you want to find more info on that jitter issue with that rom check the 3d SD rom thread theres was quite a few people trying to log what was happening and even a few additional fixes were tried.
