AWESOME!

just to clarify, i just copied 58010005.xml into the \openecu\ecuflash\rommetadata\mitsubishi\evo\ directory and open ECUFlash and open my ROM right?

that's what i did and it work, no message boxes or anything. this thing just knew my internal ID.

Yep, you should now see a good chunk of tables and "stuff". Most of the important stuff should be there, although there are still a few loose ends to attend to - idle speed tables, lean-spool, psi-based boost control, etc.

ya, i'm doing some exploring now while rewatching recompiles videos.

did you do the definitions for these? i would like to learn how to do these eventually or at least understand the general process better of how we went from a rom (hex i take it) to and xml.

Rich did the SST ones, yes. I did the GSR ones (by copying 95% of what Rich did for the SST ).

Learning is a bit tough. Go to Rich's disassembly thread and see if you can get that to work.

Rich is separate. You'd have to ask him.

Gents , successfully with the help of my friend, we just reflashed my 2012. We did minor changes, mostly in the fuel trims, timing and boost. I will be most likely dynoing this car on its stock flash and then do the the full tune trim.

Being that I am not going to mod the car, other than a flash it will very interesting to see how much of a a power increase I will get. I am not looking at peak numbers but just and overall perfrormance increase ala a fq350 lol.

Btw thanks to those that did decoding I would mind working on ecus again. Which I did back on the srt world

That's awesome news. Keep us posted with your results, I'm very curious at the gains from just your re-flash.

Yep - if you enable it. The enablement-age items should be present and correct in Golden's definitions.
