Need a little direction on setup pre ecu flash (gurus please chime in)
Sorry if my questions have been covered before. I'm sure they have, but both the search and google are giving me conflicting answers. I am considering going from stand alone to ecu flash, but am not readily finding the answers I'm looking for.
First of all, I have heard that it is possible to replace the front o2 sensor from stock to a wideband. I am wanting to use the LC-1 which is currently wired directly to the ecu. Will the stock ecu flashed be able to read it so long as I convert the signal to 0-1v, or do I have to use the stock front 02 sensor?
Secondly, I am currently running speed density. I recognize that my current IAT sensor will most likely not work in conjunction with ecu flash and will need to convert to the GM IAT. Bearing that in mind, do I wire the GM IAT to the MAF harness (like most stand alone IATs), or does it need to be wired differently?

From what I understand when on the stock ecu you Must keep the front o2 sensor. You can replace the rear one by the cat but have to keep the stock one. You can wire your IAT into the MAF harness or directly into the ECU. SpoolingUp sells the harness for the MAF connection on their website.
