New to tuning a lot to take in check my rom.

Hello this is Allen

Well I have been doing a lot of homework on how to get everything setup and finally managed to get everything working.. I think..

My current car is a 05 evo 8
I have ecu flash 1.42
I just uploaded tephra mod v7 and Speed density mod and omni 4 bar map sensor patch

Here is my current XML file if some one could check over it and make sure its all added and writing correctly it would be great.

rom id 9694011

I guess I will start with HOW DO I UPLOAD MY XML FILE lol. so you can see it.

Your rom should be a .hex or .bin file. The hex or bin file uses the xml file to display correctly. So if you edited any of the xml files in the ecuflash>rommetadata>evo folder you may need to remove and reinstall ecuflash.

Yes that was the issue. I guess with the new v7 tephra you don't need to attach the XML file to the original. And another good thing is you need to make sure you put the bin and hex file in booth the ecu flash folder and the romdata folder or it will not be able to locate it once you open it.

If you are not familiar with tuning, I would not recommend speed density to learn with, it's a bit of a steep learning curve. The MAF version is going to be much simpler.

your maps are all screwed up now because with tephra v7 you get BIG maps to work with. You will have to redo them.

i got it all working I was adding the XML wrong. The car has a FF setup so no maf can be ran. We are not new to tuning just new to ecuflash and adding patchs and such.
