alright so im having trouble with the nlts, valet mode, and cel flash on knock patch.

i had this working on my old rom id 94170008. tuner just finished tuning the car today and switched me to 94170015. i downloaded the needed 94170015 patched rom for the tephra patch and copied in the xml data needed as i done before. i also copied over EVERYTHING in the tuned tables to the patched rom tables. YES I COPIED THE IMMOBILIZER AND INIT CODE. tried flashing it to the car and the flash worked, i received no error messages, but it did take a considerable amount of time longer than a normal flash. when i tried to start the car all it does is crank? flashed the normal rom back in from the tuner and car starts. anyone have any ideas?

 

I have had the vallet mode trip after making the switch. Does the CEL blink at all when you try to start it?

 

i dont think so, the only thing i saw that was blinking was my abs light. but thats a known problem having the cable connected and being below a certain speed. i can try it again tomorrow when i get off work and see if the cel flashes when trying to start the car.

what do you mean the valet mode tripped? even if the valet mode was on shouldnt the car still start since i adjusted its parameters prior to flashing the rom?

 

I know my NLTS and Stationary Rev Limit doesn't work on the Tephra V7.

 

what exactly is the difference in the 94170008 and 0015 roms? like could i take everything from the 0015 rom they have me on and paste it into the 0008 rom and try the old patch that use to work, or are the tables different? both roms have all the same tables, but are they different when opened up?
