Tried reading the Evo VIII ecu on both my 97 and 92 Talons only to be told no response to any know codes. Nothing has changed since I read them last. I am able to datalog and activate sensors with EVO scan and I am able to download info when using Evo Live Map. Battery voltage is good. Anybody have a suggestion?

 

Can be a false contact on the reflash connector? Make sure it is well connected on your car (it is a common failure to have a false contact under the dashboard)

I checked on the contact, seems to be correct. Thanks for the idea. Would I still be able to use EVOscan along with ELM if I had a bad Tactrix cable? Anybody know how to trouble shot a Tactrix cable to be sure it is working correctly? Again seems odd that I am unable to read either of my cars ecu's and nothing has changed. Wondering if my cable is bad.
