Disable P0300 on the Evo 10
Just to be clear, it only disables P300, P0301, P0302, P0303, P0304. I'm still puzzled why you guys are worried about the P030X codes. A consistent misfire is easy to detect by seat of the pants. Heck, even a random misfire can typically be detected in a datalog. An example of something I wouldn't disable would be a crank sensor or cam sensor code.

ok, that's what I expected for issues. All the other places where the on/off pops up are needed to fully disable the P030X algorithm.
Some generalizations that apply to the Evo X in this context "most of the time":
At idle, vacuum leaks can cause this. (if the vacuum leak is in the boost control hoses, it can also cause over boosting)
Exhaust leaks near the primary o2 sensor can cause this.
If you get a misfire code, change the plugs first, ask questions later. 75% of the time this will fix it if not caused by the above.
If you get a misfire code at boost and you have done the above, replace the fuel pump relay.
If the poblem persists, verify that the ECU calibration keeps the fuel trims within acceptable range.
My X is throwing only P0300 as soon as I installed a triple Carbonetic clutch with light flywheel. If I don't clear the code, the cel goes off sometimes every two cycles. Then comes back again.Mr Fred and Golden could you please provide the code and addresses for 53040007 so I can test it?Thanks.
